Crew of Ship Attacked in the Strait of Hormuz Evacuated
Ukrainian officials reported that all crew members of a ship attacked last night in the Strait of Hormuz have been evacuated. The attack took place near the Ukraine-Poland border, where a Russian drone crashed. The assault damaged a train engine, but no casualties were reported.
An Iranian foreign ministry official announced that the Gulf Cooperation Council foreign ministers’ meeting scheduled for today in Oman has been postponed. The decision was made jointly by Iran and Oman following requests from some regional countries. Iran said it will consult with Oman to set a new date for the meeting.
US President Donald Trump stated that Iran wants a deal, but he will only accept one he considers good. Trump added that the conflict with Iran will end before or shortly after the US midterm elections on November 3, and that oil prices will fall.
