Prime Minister Hamza was accompanied by ministers and senior officials from the Somali government. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen ties and cooperation between their countries.
Hamza briefed his Qatari counterpart on Somalia’s socio-economic situation, recent progress, and achievements in security and stability.
They also discussed global issues, focusing on security and peace, and explored how Somalia and Qatar could collaborate to address challenges affecting international trade.
The Qatari Prime Minister praised Somalia’s development and described the bilateral relationship as strong and cooperative. Hamza thanked Qatar for its support, especially its stance on protecting Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
