Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a conference of neutral countries in Belgrade, Serbia, where he delivered a speech addressing global security, political, and economic challenges.
The president stated that conflicts, terrorism, geopolitical tensions, and climate change require joint solutions based on international cooperation. He highlighted Somalia’s progress in stability, reconstruction, and development.
President Hassan Sheikh thanked the international community for its support to Somalia and emphasized the country’s commitment to sovereignty, territorial unity, justice, and equality. He called for resolving disputes through dialogue and peace.
