Complaint Filed at ICC Over US Airstrike in Southern Iran

The Iranian Red Crescent has submitted a letter to the International Criminal Court requesting an investigation into a US airstrike in southern Iran. The strike reportedly hit a wedding party in the Kohistak area of Sirek, killing four people, including a child, and injuring 67 others.
The Red Crescent said some of the wounded are in critical condition, which could increase the death toll. The group called for an independent inquiry, noting the attack targeted a civilian gathering.
The US military acknowledged reports of the strike and casualties but insisted its forces do not deliberately target civilians. The incident comes amid rising tensions between the US and Iran.
