Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Belgrade, Serbia, where he delivered a speech addressing global security, political, and economic challenges.
President Hassan Sheikh emphasized the need for international cooperation to address conflicts, terrorism, geopolitical tensions, and climate change. He also updated the summit on Somalia’s progress and government efforts toward stability, reconstruction, and development.
The president reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, justice, equality, and peaceful conflict resolution.
