JSP Urged to Consider Candidates’ Knowledge and Experience in Hirshabelle Election
The Executive Committee of the JSP party has been urged to take into account the views and votes of the educated and professional community of Hirshabelle when selecting the party’s candidate for regional leadership. An independent open letter called for candidates to be evaluated based on leadership ability, administrative experience, and reconciliation skills rather than political popularity alone.
The letter also emphasized that the chosen candidate should have prior administrative experience, the capacity to resolve political conflicts, and the ability to build government institutions. It highlighted the importance of understanding the relationship between the federal government and member states, as well as the skills needed to strengthen international cooperation and regional development.
The JSP Executive Committee was reminded that the Hirshabelle leadership election will significantly affect the region’s future. They were urged to make a careful decision to select a leader who unites, brings stability, and works for sustainable progress.
