JSP Party Calls for Careful Selection of Hirshabelle Leadership Candidate
The chairman of the JSP party has urged careful consideration in choosing the party’s candidate for the Hirshabelle presidency. An open letter from the JSP executive committee called for input from Hirshabelle’s intellectuals and professionals to avoid bias and prevent decisions based solely on political popularity.
The letter emphasized that the chosen candidate should have prior leadership experience, the ability to unite politicians, resolve conflicts, and implement tough decisions. The candidate should also possess skills in reconciliation, broad acceptance, and experience in institution building and government administration.
Additionally, the candidate must understand how to work with the federal government and member states, and have expertise in managing natural resources and international relations. The letter encouraged basing the final decision on a combination of competence, integrity, and leadership ability.
