More than 15 people are missing after heavy flooding struck Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch in Grand Canyon National Park on Saturday. The National Park Service said the floods were caused by storms from the Kaibab Plateau.

So far, 62 people have been rescued, with efforts ongoing to locate the others. No deaths or injuries have been confirmed, according to a statement from the agency.
The National Park Service warned that heavy rain and additional storms could continue until Monday, increasing the risk of flooding, rockfalls, and changing road and river conditions. Rescue teams and Arizona officials are working to save those still missing.
